Osaka Sushi Lounge

You’re walking near the Parliament in downtown and you suddenly get a craving for sushi.  What do you do?  Located in the heart of Beirut and  just a few minutes from downtown and Hamra street, Osaka Sushi Lounge is a restaurant you should visit.  It’s a quaint, cozy restaurant with it’s wooden fixtures and serene environment located in the heart of Beirut.  As you walk in you can’t help looking at the chefs as they prepare sushi.  A hostess greets you upon arrival wearing traditional, Japanese attire and seats you.  You’re handed a menu with the widest selection of delectable salads, raw fish, soups, tempura, and side dishes, which sets it apart from other sushi restaurants.  If raw seafood isn't your thing, don't worry, they also have cooked fish, chicken, and beef appetizers and main courses.

From appetizers like edamame, miso soup, to salmon sashimi, tempura, and beef asparagus roll, there’s something for everyone.  Don’t forget to order some sake!  Sake is made from fermented rice and complements your meal perfectly.  It is preferable to make a reservation because it does get crowded, especially around lunch time and Friday and Saturday night but if you’re lucky you can just walk in.  The ambiance is also romantic with its soft music in the background and dim lighting, which makes it the ideal setting if you want to have a quiet dinner for two.
