Internazionale

Internazionale is the second venture by Torino express owner Andreas and just as successful. Cafe during the day and bar at night Internazionale is a no pretensions kind of place for people of all walks of life. After only two years it already has a regular crowd including some of Beirut's more interesting artist, musicians.

A communal feel is produced by the shared benches and tables (outside for smokers and some of the tables inside). The large glass fronts that dorn this corner venue give it a coffee-house feel during the day. The largely art deco style interior, features a beautiful bar with black leather stools and on the back wall a fantastic print of a 70s plane interior when smoking was still allowed during flights. This interesting mix of a thought through but simple bordering on the understated interior design gives this place a relaxed yet interesting vibe.

Food and drinks are good. Fine food consisting of Salads and Sandwiches with a daily menu make this a nice lunch and chill place during the day. 

At night, the combination of always very good music of different genres, the crowd, the quality cocktails turn it into a great place for a fun night out. It isn't by accident that the crowd spills out on the the sidewalk and street on a busy weekend. Definitely a place to have a couple of drinks and maybe a burger.
