Rita Chemaly holds a postgraduate degree in administrative and political sciences from the Institute of Political Sciences at Saint Joseph University and is a recipient of the Samir Kassir Prize for Freedom of the Press category of young researchers.
She is a volunteer in several NGOs, Human rights, and the rule of law. Since 2010, she works at the National Commission of Lebanese Women (NCLW) as consultant for the development of projects. She is responsible within the PSI of the mission of preparing and publishing the Memoires.
