LMT 15 > Baskinta - El-Mtein

Trail Description
This section of the LMT begins in the village of Baskinta. You cross the Ouadi el Delb (وادي الدلب ), and pass the church of Saydet el Khalleh (سيدة الخلة ) before reaching the area of Manboukh (منبوخ ), where there is a spring of the same name.  You then pass Bkellaa Lake (بقلاّع ) before descending into the historic village of El Mtain. The main highlights are the spectacular valley views, the cave of Seif el Dawleh (مغارة سيف الدولة ), the church of Saydet el Khalleh (كنيسة سيدة الخلة ), and the Roman ruins at el Jawzeh (الجوزة ). In this section, a 5-km dirt road from Saydet el Khalleh area to the Manboukh is bike friendly. .
