A hidden oasis with prime views of the ocean for an unexpected tranquil experience in the heart of Raouche
If the walls of Dbaibo could talk, they would recount stories of 1940’s celebrities and political figures sharing meals over breathtaking sea views in the heart of the Raouche district in Beirut. While others have come and gone, Dbaibo still stands- since 1926 no less- Overlooking the Raouche Pigeon Rock (Capri has nothing on Beirut), tables are spacious and make for a welcome reprieve from the ever-crowded city. The setting is modest and the service friendly and unfussy. In contrast, the menu offers over a hundred different traditional Lebanese food and drink items to choose from (although they do not serve alcohol). Try their freshly squeezed juices for a welcome burst of cool on a warm sunny day.
