Raouche refers to a residential and commercial neighborhood in Beirut, known for its up-scale buildings, restaurants, but especially acknowledged for its cliff-side cafes. One café that stands out, not only with citizens of Lebanon but also tourists from all over is Bay Rock Café.

Although this café offers spacious inside seating, it all comes down to the outdoor seating area overlooking the most famous landmark of Beirut. Although Bay Rock Café is famous for its outstanding sitting views, make sure to stop for a promenade afterwards along the famous Corniche; the wide, seawalk of "Avenue de Paris", which is popular on weekends and evenings for strollers and joggers.
