Back to the basics of fine French dining

Alesia Restaurant offers a calm ambiance with an impressive French cuisine. It’s quickly become a favorite of VIPs and gourmet food aficionados for its quality food and understated atmosphere. Among the plethora of French bistros cropping up in Beirut, Alesia is on the less ostentatious scale of the showy spectrum. It’s a fine place for a family dinner or a meal with business clients.

Located in Saifi Village, the restaurant manager greets everyone with a smile at the door. Service is quick and considerate. The dining arrangement is traditional and elegant, with flowers decorating every table and old tiles lining the floors. Dimmed lights nurture a cozy atmosphere. The acoustics of the place lends itself to quiet conversation. French paintings hang on the walls. One section of the eatery features wooden floors and a subtle lighting display.

The restaurant serves exceptional cuisine prepared with care and skill. As an appetizer, Alesia offers smoked salmon topped with capers and an array of fresh salads. The mushroom risotto and tagliatelle al crème stand out for rich creamy flavors. But Alesia truly excels in the meat department, with perfectly cooked streak, served with potatoes, and also for its tender chicken escalope. Dishes are presented in aesthetically appealing plates.  The filet mignon also comes recommended by patrons who frequent the restaurant. All in all Alesia encapsulates the basics of fine French dining.

For dessert the resto serves an especially creamy caramel pain perdu.

The restaurant will appeal to those looking for an intimate dinner with family or friends.
