Made by the famous Roberto Cavalli comes the Cavalli Cafe. From lunch to dinner to a club scene, this place is a must see!
Who would have imagined that a top Italian fashion designer would also become wildly successful in the food business? Cavalli, by Roberto Cavalli brings a posh, fashion-theme café to Beirut. With an inside capacity of around eighty guests, The Cavalli Café offers a scrumptious selection of the finest Italian cuisine. Cavalli’s furnishing design in the lounge with his signature zebra-print on the light shades and giraffe print on the lush, oversized couch screams Roberto Cavalli.
Mirrored-lined walls and reflective silver detail gives the moderately sized café a spacious feel. Suitable for morning brunches, trendy lunches, lounged afternoons and glamorous evenings, it will attract the most important clients of the elite Lebanese society. Cavalli Café includes a broad menu ranging from crunch bruschettone and thin-crust pizza to fresh pasta and al dente risotto. Make sure to go for the city’s only duck lasagna, and end it with the Sicilian cannoli stuffed with ricotta, pistachio, and chocolate with mascarpone sauce. Customers can also splurge on one of Cavalli’s bottles of wine or boxes of chocolates that line the mirrored walls.
The space transitions from morning brunch and lunch scene to more of a buzzy happy hour and fabulous club with rotating DJs and one of Beirut’s more diverse social scenes that include fashion victims and trendsetters. “Experiencing the enjoyment of exquisite food and surrounded by pleasant company, sipping a delicious cup of Italian coffee,” the designer said, “this is the Cavalli Café philosophy.” It is the perfect new elite spot to see and be seen in the city.
