Sibylle is currently editor-in-chief of Le Commerce du Levant. After acquiring a master's degree in economics and finance from the Institute of Political Studies in Paris (Science Po), Sibylle Rizk obtained a diploma in journalism and media from the Journalists’ Training Center (CFJ) in Paris. She started her career in journalism as an editor at the news agency Reuters in Paris between 1997 and 1999, and returned to Lebanon in 1999 to serve as the head of the economy and business page at L'Orient-Le Jour newspaper, and as Beirut correspondent for the newspaper Le Figaro.
In 2006, she moved to her current position as editor-in-chief of the business magazine Le Commerce Du Levant, all while contributing to several French-speaking newspapers and radio stations. In 2012, she contributed to the editing and publishing of the first guide of its kind on Lebanese wine, Zawaq, in both French and English.
