Kaddoum Center

Kaddoum Center is one of the oldest centers in Byblos/Jbeil. Located in the heart of Byblos facing the Police Department, it’s known to be the first destination to hang out with friends and spend quality time with the family.

Kaddoum Center includes three floors. The entrance hall (level 0) is an ideal place to enjoy an authentic Italian ice cream made of fresh fruits or a delicious merry cream, not to mention its strategic location which provides an easy access to major boutiques for clothes, shoes, and jewelry all nearby. It’s a non-smoking area. The first floor, which I personally call the live floor, is where all the action is, if I may say that. It offers a live cocktail show. All tables are intentionally displayed to face the transparent huge refrigerators filled with exotic fresh fruits, tasty desserts and mouthwatering cakes. Behind these refrigerators, customers will enjoy watching a motivated group of chefs, all wearing one use white gloves, preparing their requested fruit cocktails live. Cocktail making will no longer be a complex risky procedure but a live interesting show ensuring all the food safety measures. One chef will chop the selected fruits, another one will mix them with fruit juice or milk in the mixer, and then the next one in row will prepare the setup as to cocktail layers and nuts, finally the last one will sprinkle the top with chocolate syrup and biscuits. It’s a non-smoking area. The second floor is called “Diwan al Kaddoum”. It’s reserved to smokers. It offers them a wide range of chichas to smoke freely while enjoying a remarkable view over Byblos downtown from the top of Kaddoum Center.

Every floor at Kaddoum Center has its own unique specialty. Nevertheless, they all offer the same diversified food menu. Starting from a wide range of American starters like chicken tenders and a variety of salads, followed by Italian pizzas or pasta platters like salmon pasta. Chicken and meat platters will definitely beat your hunger. Just order the Mexican chicken platter and you’ll see for yourselves. For those who prefer Lebanese traditional food, I bet you will be more than satisfied with their freshly prepared taouk or shawarma or falafel and my personal favorite arayes kafta. Note that Kaddoum Center also offers a daily variety of plats du jour accompanied with salad and dessert.    Finally don’t forget the crepes, and ashta desserts to finish up with a touch of sweetness.
