Dragonfly

Dragonfly is Pacifico's little brother. That is to say the same drinks concept high quality cocktails served simply, or simple glasses but high quality ingredients, powers the success of this cosy venue in Gemmayzeh's Gouraud street. Since its opening in 2008 it has made a name for itself in Lebanon and abroad (CNN listed as the number 1 bar in Beirut in 2013) for the delicious and large variety of cocktails on offer.

A amazingly long list of cocktails to choose from examples of which are: the mango or strawberry daiquiris, fine whiskey sours, Moscow mule, caipirinhas and all kinds of herbal Gin mixes. All these are prepared with fresh ingredients and quality alcohols and served by dapper barmen.

The food is also good. Finger food and sandwiches for the barflies, but they don't disappoint and are prepared with care. Dumplings, rolls or the tortilla pizza and other snacks will help you counter the effects of the drinks that go down way to easily, and they will do this to your pleasure.

The old cellar with vaulted ceiling, wooden furniture and the marble bar give it a comfortable and chic atmosphere. The place is never empty, which admittedly is not very difficult as there is only room for about 40 and maybe a few more when it is packed.

Decent music and an absolutely professional and friendly service round off this bar experience and make it a must-see and must-do of the Beirut Night-Life.
