Cafe Younes Hamra

The Cafe Younes roastery in Hamra expanded into a coffee shop near its original location in the mid 2000s, and became a Hamra fixture ever since. Conveniently located in a side street just off Hamra main street, and halfway between the American University of Beirut and the Lebanese American University, Cafe Younes offers a pleasant space where students and professionals alike can meet for study or work meetings, as well as a great place to enjoy a break.

With a wide range of coffees, teas, sandwiches, salads, and platters, the two floors and terrace cafe is a great place to enjoy an afternoon or morning, be it for pleasure or for business. Offering Soy milk for the vegans or those avoiding dairy products for health or other reasons, a Latte or a Cappuccino can be enjoyed there for a small extra charge.

The Hamra branch of cafe Younes's clientelle tends to consist of students, professors, professionals, and a few tourists who find its proximity to the Hamra district hotels convenient. The cafe is equipped with free Wi-Fi, which is provided in two hours chunks upon request.
