A fresh and dynamic take on the traditions of the past – this is Café Blanc!
Ancient silver coins provide the inspiration for the logo while the name itself is taken from a drink beloved by generations of Lebanese, as the perfect ending to a perfect meal. café blanc or white coffee is a subtle mixture of Orange Blossom water and hot water. Ask any Lebanese and they will tell you: any and all binges are washed-away by white coffee. There. Your criminal record is expunged. It’s no wonder this miracle beverage gave its name to a succeeding restaurant franchise. Working its magic yet again, Café blanc has taken the food and beverage industry by storm. With branches in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, KSA, Kuwait and Egypt, the restaurant/coffee house shows no signs of slowing down. Its original concept centers on providing a refreshingly modern approach to the most cherished elements of the past. A unique hybrid of the traditional and modern Lebanese coffee house experience, Café Blanc is a must-try.
The place itself is designed to create a warm and inviting environment: hues of sand-tinted concrete floors and hints of vivid Mediterranean turquoise seem to announce the bright end of a beach day. The intricate ceiling design and the mousharabieh-like partitions, through clever lighting, give a romantic oriental atmosphere to the space. The custom-made furniture is as striking as the arabesque floral motif in the mousharabieh pattern , which was inspired by the Orange Blossom tree from which the traditional café blanc infusion is actually distilled.
Creativity is at the heart of Café Blanc’s menu. Alongside the familiar mezze and the large selection of traditional dishes, you will also find a few traditional dishes with a twist. Dishes are beautifully presented in custom-made tableware, especially handcrafted by local artisans. All-in-all a wonderful dining experience!
