The burger craze around Beirut shows no signs of slowing down. One of the first specialty burger joints to open around town, Brgr.co has managed to maintain consistent quality over the years. Billed as a homemade gourmet burger restaurant, the place has certainly developed a cult following among burger lovers. The concept, from the Par Contre group, signifies the very best of high-end casual dining. A gourmet burger enjoyed in a space that is both sophisticated and warm.

Burgers at Brgr.co begin with the finest in Australian Angus beef, custom-blended and served with a selection of the world’s best cheeses on a homemade toasted bun. After its main branch opened in Ashrafieh in 2010 and the second opened in Beirut Souks in 2012, its success has been such that it has recently open a branch in the posh Soho neighborhood of London.

While burgers are without a doubt the main draw here, don’t discount other main dishes such as the Maine-style Lobster Roll or side orders such as the oh-so-sinful Parmesan Truffle Fries. Be warned: burgers are not cheap but there’s a good chance you may be willing to forget the hole in your pocket after the first bite.
