No-frills Lebanese street food at its best!
If you pass by Tabliyit Massaad on Gemmaizeh Street during lunchtime, chances are you’ll find it bursting with lively diners. If you choose to stop there, which we recommend you do, chances are you’ll have to wait. Don’t let the 10-15 minute wait time put you off, however; service is fast and the food is oh-so worth the wait.
The menu is typical Lebanese fare, from hummus to mixed barbecue grill platters but the taste is anything but typical. Flavorful and creative seasonings make for a delicious twist to the traditional Lebanese meal. Each dish is served on a wooden board, or tabliyi (hence the name) and cut out in just the right bite sizes for maximum enjoyment. Be sure to try the Taouk, their specialty.
With a new branch now open in Dbayeh, Tabliyit Massaad shows no signs of slowing down. Their affordable prices (a complete meal should not set you back more than 20$) and delivery service may suggest a fast-foodish quality to the place but make no mistake: every discerning palate will call Tabliyit Massadd exactly what it is: Lebanese street food at its best.
