Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the streets of Mar Mikhael is SUD: an all-in-one restaurant, bar, terrace and rooftop nestled in the heart of a renovated traditional Mediterranean courtyard. Divided into 3 complementary sections, each designed to create a unique ambiance; SUD has become the go-to place for a wide variety of outings.

On the ground level, the restaurant-with indoor and outdoor seating- offers a range of carefully selected Mediterranean dishes served up from the plancha grill in the open kitchen just beyond. Get a seat on the terrace if you can: the plant-lined flagstone exterior bathes in the aroma of pizzas baking in the wood fire oven next door, making a meal under the midday sun –or night stars for that matter- a must (Do not miss the truffle ravioli). To the left, the downstairs bar offers a select list of original cocktails alongside all the staple classics to sooth even the weariest of travellers. A selection of tapas from the restaurant’s menu is available at the bar to keep hunger at bay no matter the hour. As the evening progresses, the rooftop offers an open-air reprieve from Beirut’s crowded streets. The DJ, formidable bar and low-slung couches create a space to recline post-dinner or prep for the night ahead.
