Over 50 flavors of premium-quality ice cream and more
You would be hard-pressed to find a Lebanese foodie who hasn’t tried or at least heard of Oslo ice cream. Founded by Nayla Audi in 1997, the company has made a name for itself making ice cream using only natural top-grade fruits and ingredients that have resulted in over 50 novel flavors, including rose-loukoum, pistachio-halva and pomegranate, to coffee toffee crunch, chocolate chocolate chip and Oreo cookies. While you may pick up the phone and order their now-famous one liter tubs, the shop open in Mar Mikhael will delight your sweet tooth on the spot. Enter a small place with immaculate design and an array of ice cream flavors displayed that will leave you melting with indecision.
The colors, the textures and the mere sight of these decadent treats will have you wanting for more. Oslo is not merely an ice cream parlor, the shop also has a selection of mouthwatering cakes and cookies, all simply displayed and beautifully sealed in strategic transparent bags to tempt you further. Don’t miss their angel food cake- another trademark- a light, airy concoction that totals a mere 870 calories (for the entire cake) and that is delicious (ok so you may want to add cream and a strawberry coulis on top but hey…that’s on you)
