Coffee enthusiasts may be an understatement as you feel the passion in the blends of coffee that are both roasted and brewed at this great hidden location deep in the middle of Mar Mikhael.  Dalia Jaffal, co-founder and manager of the Kalei Coffee co. has traveled herself to Ethiopian and Columbia to source the fresh beans that are served and sold to her patrons.  She limits her coffee intake to 2 cups a day and we can see how that could be a tall order because the flavours in the fresher than fresh coffee are really delicious, especially in the peaceful, tranquil garden pulling you out of the usual Beirut traffic and pollution.  If you need to drink some excellent coffee and work on your laptop this may be the place for you.  Perhaps after you've finished your work, you might be tempted by some of their original, although pricey, cocktails !
