Running in Beirut with a professional coach for FREE !

This event has finished

Regular running or jogging offers many health benefits such as helping to build strong bones, strengthen muscles, improve cardiovascular fitness and helping maintain a healthy weight. It is also a great stress relief as your body releases the happy chemical endorphin into your system.

At 6:34 pm every Tuesday and Thursday Nike Running Club (NRC) meets at the Nike store in Beirut Souks.  NRC coach Mark Jibran and NRC pacer Mohammad Marhamo take a group of runners on a safe and fun run around Beirut. The pace is regulated so it appeals to a variety of participants no matter what the fitness level is.

This Nike initiative is creating a nice little community of runners motivating each other and helping improve their fitness and health at no cost.  Downloading the Nike+ Running app to track your progress and stay motivated is recommended.
