The new and improved Hamra pub gives you a fresh take on an old favorite and more!
Brick’s was one of the first pubs to open in Hamra- way before all the craziness. Having undergone significant renovation, the new and improved version of it has certainly got our seal of approval. Its signature laid-back atmosphere has spurred a regular customer base that includes a decidedly democratic mix of individuals representing all walks of life. From students to couples, this is as close as it gets to the European, friendly beer garden vibe in Beirut. Consider it your drunken home-away-from-home, if you will.
Experiment with some of the funkiest cocktails in the neighborhood and enjoy the hip music and good food but mostly, come here to chill-out over a drink or two. The outdoor seating in summer is a great vantage point from which to indulge in one of the Lebanese’s favorite activities: people-watching.
Set on the corner of Makdessi street, it has a prime location from which to gawk at Hamra partygoers (if gawking is your thing, gawk away. We don’t judge) or bar-hop to other nearby locations. Whatever the reason you find yourself at Brick’s, you are sure to come out a cooler version of yourself.
