Al Boustan Hotel

Located at the top of Bet Meri mountain, Al Bustan, which means the garden, is a fabulous hotel with a breathtaking view over Beirut and the Mediterranean. It is an independent family owned hotel opened in 1962 which offers the luxury of space and good taste; with up to date technology and modern facilities. There are 117 rooms, including 21 suits, and 29 of these rooms including 5 suites situated in the Merybel wing.

Dine in their elegant a la carte gourmet restaurant, Les Glycines, famous for its Sunday buffets with international and Lebanese specialties, or if you are in the mood for pasta, Il Giardino is the place for you. Al Bustan also includes a wine cellar, Café bar, Scottish bar, the Ottoman, a beautiful red lounge with a fireplace, a piano lounge, and la Marocaine terrace, for a perfect candlelit dinner in the summer. There is also a chapel, children’s playground, fitness room, and outdoor swimming pool perfectly heated in the winter. It also hosts banquets including private dining rooms, cocktail receptions, and outdoor receptions, which can hold up to 2,000 people.

One of the highlights of the Hotel is the pool and terraced gardens for weddings. Holding up to 2,000 people, it a unique setting perched over the concrete mass of Beirut. It also houses an art collection, comprising paintings by local and international artists, as well as antiques.

During the months of February and March the Al Bustan International Festival of Music and the Arts is not to be missed featuring all types of profound acts by renowned Jazz and Classical musicians and performers.
