I passed with my friend to grab a light dinner. First the interiors are so cozy and warm, great work on the decoration i loved the couches, the fire torches and the chalk board with the week special items.
We tired the Penelope salad, a very generous portion of fresh ingredients, and the cheese platter also came in good portions, it was luckily accompanied by fig jam (very tasty we asked for another serving!), dried berries (least favorite), dried apricots and another jam which we couldn't decide whether it was quince or pumpkin but anyhow was tasteless. The bread was fresh too.
However i have two points that:
1- the servers are really nice but:
- not available (understaffed) we had to wave several times to the bartender to send us a waiter and overall the service is slow
- not well trained, for example they should bring our attention to the week specialties, we only checked them after we ordered
2- the presentation of items is not as it should be: its good to toss for us the salad but when it is served it doesn't look yummy though it was very tasty, and the cheese platter can be better presented on a wooden board with a special knife, the lettuce has nothing to do in the platter and maybe the serving of the jam should be bigger.
Anyway i would really comeback to try other items of the menu
